Accommodating one of Ireland’s largest further education campuses.
The Challenge
Bizquip Interiors worked directly with Blackrock Further Education Institute to design, supply and install a broad portfolio of furniture to cater for over 1,000 full and part-time students at what is now one of Ireland’s largest further education campuses. The protected structures of the building were of strong focus at concept and design stage and a number of furniture items including the tutorial tables and boardroom furniture were of bespoke design and manufacture.
The Solution
A full suite of furniture was supplied and installed in the Institute’s tutorial rooms, student canteen and social areas, staff canteen, reception area and management and administration offices. This involved the supply of over 350 tables / desks and 600 chairs in an array of finishes to complement the requirement of new social spaces for students.
