National College of Ireland

a case study

We have worked with Bizquip Interiors to assist us in upgrading a number of student areas within our College.

We worked together with Lynne and Alison from conception stage to develop a range of ideas, themes and styles for the various locations within the National College of Ireland which included the use of 3D renders and mood boards to decide on finishes, fabrics and styles. Our Atrium space needed to have the ebb and flow of an open plan space, the furniture proposed and selected has created a flexible environment with great colour and allows students to feel comfortable in a large space.

The furniture also assisted in absorbing the noise in this atrium and is a fun space for the students to gather in. Acoustic solutions were a focal point for us and one we needed to address, adding meeting booths has greatly improved the acoustics and also double up as a great area for students to study or work on projects together. Our Student Union space needed a mix of break out furniture and Bizquip came up with a really energising and fresh design to offer privacy, comfort, collaboration and chill out space. In addition to this large project we worked on together, Lynne and the Bizquip team also look after our day to day requirements for both Staff and students including library seating, canteen chairs and office furniture.
