Bizquip Equipment & Software Solutions team

We are a trustworthy and proactive team with vast experience in the office equipment and software solutions sector. Established since 1984, our sales team approach is consultative, we work with our clients to assess their requirements and provide solutions to heighten productivity, improve work flow and generate cost efficiencies. We have a dedicated services team with excellent product knowledge and technical skills to provide the highest level of after-sales support to our clients. This enables us to retain full control and coordinate our service locally and we firmly believe our presence in the Irish market is testament to this.

As the largest Irish distributor for Ricoh in Ireland, we have developed a secure relationship and a high level of mutual trust with Ricoh over the past 30 years. Ricoh is the world’s largest manufacturer of digital copying and printing technology equipment. Together we are a solid partnership, whilst Ricoh focusing on research & development of innovative products and solutions, we concentrate on the delivery of excellent service and support to our clients.

Meet our team

  • Derek Judge

    Derek Judge, Technical Division Manager

    Derek has had extensive experience in the printer/copier industry over the past 30 years, the last 23 as Bizquip Technical Manager. Derek is responsible for the team of engineers and back-up staff who look after the extensive client base of Bizquip equipment. He successfully completed a diploma in sales management in 2008 at D.I.T and is handling many large clients in a sales capacity.
  • Stephen McCarthy, Senior Account Consultant

    Stephen McCarthy, Senior Business Consultant

    Stephen has 27 years’ experience in selling office equipment such as copier/printer/scanners and document management. He has opened and continues to manage accounts such as Arthur Cox, Deloitte, Mason Hayes & Curran, Sherry FitzGerald and A & L Goodbody. Stephen keeps himself updated with all the latest software advances so as to pass on this knowledge to his clients. He believes in building a strong working relationship with our clients.
  • Brendan Kane

    Brendan Kane, Technical Division Supervisor

    Brendan did his Electrical apprenticeship from 1981 to 1985 & worked in the UK as an electrical service engineer from 1986 to 1987. Brendan then worked in the copier industry with other suppliers until he started with Bizquip in 1990 and has built up extensive experience in the photocopier industry over the past 30 years. Brendan is responsible for overseeing the Field engineers and is a product trouble-shooter.

    Jim O’Connor, Senior Business Consultant

    Jim joined Bizquip in 2010 having spent 10 years previously with Ricoh as National Accounts Manager. Specialising in managed print services he has delivered cost savings and improvements to a wide variety of organisations, his ethos reflects the Bizquip approach of delivering the highest quality products backed by a strong service with an attention to detail and a personal touch that has been key to winning and retaining many loyal customers.
  • Fearghal Kearney, Senior Software Sales Executive

    Fearghal Kearney, Senior Software Sales Executive

    Fearghal leads the software solutions and consulting side of Bizquip. He originally trained as a chartered accountant before moving to a number of senior financial and managerial roles in industry. This experience along with his passion for technology and business process improvement led him to the ERP and CRM software arenas selling and implementing globally recognised solutions. He engages with our clients to find solutions to their business challenges particularly in the areas of document and content management, business process automation, records management and strategy.
  • Alan Jones, Senior Business Consultant

    Alan Jones, Senior Business Consultant

    Alan joined Bizquip in 2010 after 5 years with Ricoh Ireland. Alan has over 20 years’ experience in the office equipment industry. He has a vast knowledge of the Ricoh product range as well as print management software solutions including Equitrac, eCopy etc. Alan manages our Global, Major and National Accounts.
  • Dave Roberts

    Dave Roberts, Workshop Technician

    Dave joined Bizquip in 2007 as an in house technician. His role involves the pre delivery checking and setup of all office equipment hardware products. Dave is also responsible for the management of technical goods inwards/outwards and restocking of Engineers parts.
  • Glenn O'Connor

    Glenn O’Connor, Field Service Technician

    Glenn started in Bizquip in 1998 as a workshop technician and took a career break in 2002 to travel around Australia where he worked repairing PC’S and laptops. He returned to Bizquip in 2003 and is currently working as a field engineer servicing our extensive fleet of MFD’S, doing repairs and installations on new equipment.
  • Keith Donnelly

    Keith Donnelly, Field Service Technician

    Keith joined Bizquip in 1998 as an in house technician. He moved into the position of field engineer in 1999 and is extensively trained via Ricoh. Keith is responsible for high end B&W and Colour products in all our major accounts.
  • Aisling Brennan

    Aisling Brennan, Technical Administrator

    Aisling started in Bizquip in 2005 and is responsible for dealing with customer services queries and to ensure the correct course of action is taken and has been in the customer services industry since 1999. She is also responsible for technical invoices and queries and in ensuring that technical paperwork from all the engineers is up to date.
  • Michal Salomon

    Michal Salomon, Field Service Technician

    Michal joined Bizquip in 2008 . Prior to this Michal had worked for Ricoh in Poland for over 7 years and is also a qualified electrician. After moving to Ireland Michal worked as a printer service engineer in Cartridge World.- -responsible for printer service and re manufacturing inkjet and laser cartridges through this vast background in service Michael has experience in troubleshooting of inkjet/laser printer engines, Priports and variety of Ricoh B&W and Colour MFD’s.
  • Dave Tracey, Senior IT Technician

    Dave joined Bizquip in 1988 from the E.S.B. as a qualified electrician. Started in Bizquip as a field service engineer and recently celebrated 25 years with the company. His current duties include product installation, maintenance, training, and customisation development for clientaccounts. He also provides on-going support services for several Ricoh, Equitrac and Laserfiche accounts. Dave has extensive training via Ricoh on all hardware and software product including Equitrac and eCopy.
  • Terry

    Terry Gobbett, Field Service Technician

    Terry joined Bizquip as a field service technician in 1998 after three years as a workshop engineer for his previous employer M.J Flood. Terry has completed a diploma in Business Equipment Servicing in FAS, and is fully trained by Ricoh on the full range of mono and colour products and provides daily technical support to Bizquip’s major accounts.
  • Sandra Keating

    Sandra Keating, Technical Administration

    Sandra joined Bizquip in 2009 initially as our receptionist and moved to our Equipment & Software division in 2014. As part of the technical team, Sandra’s key focus is on purchasing of hardware and software and also working with existing clients to answer their service queries. Sandra demonstrates excellent attention to detail and works closely with the technical team to provide both internal and external support to meet our client’s needs.
  • Dave Stevens

    Dave Stevens, Technical Solutions Architect

    Dave has gained 14 years’ experience in the office technology service industry with over 9 years’ Service Management experience and expertise in Hardware, Software and Solutions across a range of manufacturers. Dave’s knowledge of cloud based solutions, print management and scanning solutions allows Dave to engage with our clients to understand, discover and design solutions that add value to their business and integrate with their current systems.
  • Paul Graham

    Paul Graham, IT Support

    Paul has over 20 years in the Technical Support Industry and a background in electronics. In previous roles he has held a number of positions including Field Service Engineer, Team Leader and Service Manager. Paul has qualifications in IT, Electronics and a Degree in Technology Management. Paul’s focus within the Equipment & Software division of Bizquip is to provide support across the company’s large client base for queries relating to print, scan and IT connectivity.
  • Liam Fallon

    Liam Fallon, Service Technician

    Liam is a fully qualified electrician who has also 19 years experience in the Litho printing industry, 5 of these as a qualified printer operating large format Heidelberg printing presses. He joined the Bizquip technical team as an intern in April 2014 and has since become a permanent member of our field engineer team working on mid range Ricoh and Brother devices.


  • Karen Higgins

    Karen Higgins, Technical Administration

    Karen joined Bizquip in 2014 when she returned home from her travels in Australia. Having worked in a variety of administrative and customer services positions both in Dublin and Australia, Karen brings great enthusiasm and customer services skills to meet our client’s needs. Starting initially as our Receptionist, Karen is currently working within our Technical division taking care of client’s technical enquires and working with our Engineers to provide administrative assistance as required.


  • Mark Cashen

    Mark Cashen, Technology Sales Manager

    Upon his return from London Mark joined Bizquip having held significant managed document solution roles in the corporate enterprise sector. Mark has over 30 year’s industry experience having previously held senior management roles in Canon, Xerox and Dell. Mark’s client focused, consultative and solutions-led approach has enabled many organisations improve their business processes, increasing productivity and efficiencies, generating greater bottom line return on investment. Mark leads a team of experienced sales specialists within Bizquip offering market leading technologies and solutions on behalf of the leading OEM partners in the managed document solutions industry.


  • Marcelo Pacheco

    Marcelo Pacheco, Senior Business Consultant

    Marcelo joined us in 2017 and as a Senior Business Consultant he brings with him over 16 years of business development and account management experience. Of key focus is providing excellent customer satisfaction & his attention to detail is second to none. Marcelo has developed a vast range of experience and knowledge in account management, print solutions, document management, digital transformation and service handling. He also devotes time to on-going training on all solutions to keep abreast of market trends.

    Sean joined our team in 2018 bringing with him over 25 years’ industry knowledge & experience. Throughout his career progression, he has been involved in many large managed print implementations in some of Ireland’s leading firms and has a particular appetite for new business development as well as a passion for superior account management practice.


  • Darragh Baumann

    Darragh Baumann, Senior Business Consultant

    Darragh joined Bizquip in 2018 in line with the expansion of our Technology team, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge within the managed print business across brands such as Konica Minolta, Xerox, Sharp, Oce and HP and also production print with Konica and Xerox. With over 20 years’ Industry expertise, Darragh is an expert in the print management arena, offering our clients a consultative solution to meet their print management needs. Clients he has worked with in the past include G4S, The Royal Irish Academy and Royal Victoria Eye and Ear hospital.


  • Garrett Bonner

    Garrett Bonner, Audio-Visual Solutions Consultant

    Garrett joined Bizquip in 2017 and is our Audio-Visual Solutions Consultant. Qualified in marketing to a Masters level, Garrett’s experience has varied from running a self-publishing company for seven years to working for an AV company for five years. Garrett is now responsible for all our AV projects which compliments the range of tailored solutions we continue to offer our clients on a daily basis.


  • Dean Flynn

    Dean Flynn, Pre Sales & Implementation Consultant

    Dean joined our software team in 2017 after graduating from Maynooth University with an honours degree in Software Engineering. Dean’s role as Pre-Sales & Implementation Consultant sees him interacting with our customers to design and implement solutions with the software technologies we work with here at Bizquip. He has completed significant certified training with our software partner Laserfiche.
